Hey, all.

Visiting relatives here in Anaheim and Apple Valley. Looking to see some Balls in the area--maybe some BFRs, perhaps. Not a necessity to see BFR, but it would be nice. These locations are close to either my current location or to some other stops I'm going to be making on my visit to SoCal.

Do any of the three have some nice EBMMs? BFRs? Do you recommend any other locations? I might be willing to make special trips to see them. Considering a trip to Truetone Music in Sta. Monica, but I'm not really sure if I want to go all the way the heck out there. We'll see.

i've checked the stocks recently, and appearently, fountain valley has a few BFM's.
Rancho has one (jp6 w/piezo), covina has one(also jp6 w/pieso). if you're in anaheim, you dont need to make a trip out to IE (rancho) just to see a jp6 (non-bfr). covina has it, and its a little closer to anaheim. Fountain valley GC has a few (according to stock, i dont know how accurate the stock list on EB site is.. just noting that that is what i saw).

I was just in the Rancho store a few days ago and they have nothing on the floor. I'm always disappointed whenever I go there. Don't know about the others. W/ GC coming to Palm Desert I hope the close proximity to the EBMM string factory will see them carry lots of EBMM goods.

Accuracy of the dealer inventories on the MM site is not always good, unfortunately. Thanks.

I went to Cerritos last month and they had a few EBMM basses, but no guitars. That is pretty much the case with most GCs in Southern California. However, I went to the Sherman Oaks GC two weeks ago and they had a great selection of EBMM basses (including a 30th) as well as about 5 guitars.

If you are looking for a guitar here in the LA area, the Hollywood and Sherman Oaks GCs are your best bet.

Nah...not necessarily looking for a guitar. Just want to see what's around. Hoping maybe to see a BFR live and in the flesh, but it's not a big deal if I don't.

Wagnerite, where was it hanging, on the back wall near the top, or on the floor? The first thing I look for in any GC is the EBMM guitars and I literally went through the whole dept and found none so I guess it did sell. The San Bernardino store only had a beaten up SUB last time I went there but that was over a month ago.

in rancho... it was hung up on the wall, on the right side of the wall, under the jacksons, above the ibanez and to the Left of the "lefties" guitars.

a black jp6

At Rancho I saw a fully loaded JP6 in Pearl Redburst right above the entrance to "The Vault" or whatever that store calls their premium stuff room.

Didn't see any other guitars there. Saw an ASS, a Sub, and a JP6 in Covina along with a few basses (including a chipped up 30th SR :()
