Australians have No chance hey???

There's always the used market - I know I'm not the only serial flipper here on the board ;).

Maybe one of the dealers down under could set up a special run like GC did here in the US. It might have to be a different color than the two runs for GC but then you would have a unique color for EBMM that we couldn't get here.:D

I was going to start a new thread/review for it but I guess I overslept today. I got a call from my pals at the GC and I went to see it. The pictures are in my phone and I'll put them up sometime soon. The guitar sounds great! Much better than any other Axis in my opinion. I guess the pickup covers do make a difference. No, I didnt buy it.

Glenn.....I'm glad you got a chance to play that one. There was a guy playing it and carrying it around at the JP session at Boston GC and I was playing a silo near him. He carried it around until the session was about to start (we're talking 4:15 till 6:30). When the session was finished, I was very surprised to see it on a stand with nobody around it.

Still available? I don't know.

I will say that the rosewood neck Al in that color with those pickups was very nice to play.

I like that alot. Kind of simple and not over done. Very clean nice guitar and I bet it plays like every other EBMM, like a dream

I prefer a figured top as opposed to a solid colour Axis, but that red is awfully sweet looking.

Are you saying that the humbucker ALs are out there now? Or was it a proto?

Glen from EBMM had one at the Petrucci/BP session in Boston. It sure played and looked great! I don't know how I ended up being the lucky one to get to play it.....
