I know what you mean about the post-Duke stuff, but apparently Genesis are intending to play a greater range of old stuff on the '07 tour than they have on the last couple of tours which dumped virtually everything pre-Duke.
Nursery Crime.. Foxtrot.. Wind and Wuthering.. A Trick of the Tale.. Selling England by the Pound..
All really great albums! (Yeah, somebody will ask why I didn't list Lamb Lies Down on Broadway... it's great too but the lyrics are too trippy for me. )
What I would give to hear Peter Gabriel singing with Genesis for just one evening..
I'm with you steve on this one except for the Lamb that I love too but being French helps as I didn't pay too much attention to the lyrics I like all Genesis Era including Ray Wilson one. This is a great singer and I love his solo work too
I have seen the Musical Box Canadian tribute band playing the selling England by the Pound tour. Though it was not Genesis it was very similar to the photo I know and some bootled I have from this era : a big thrill.
Will go and see Genesis in June in France this summer. May go again to see the musical box in March but I have plan for Toto and Marillion too so ...
