Hey folks,
Just traded for an Axis SS hardtail in black sparkle! Not sure if its a rare color or not, but its one hell of an axe. Its taking me a while to get used to not having a trem on a guitar, but the sustain is unbelievable! Also my first guitar with a maple board, and now I think I want a few more :D

Here's a few pics...

oh, and I replaced the knobs with EB/MM parts (thanks jon!) and also got a cap for the selector switch

It's a beautiful thing. But what might make it truly rare is if you can get the flowered drapery pattern permanently airbrushed on  ;) :)

GrooveHT, congrats!!! I love the sparkles they are the best. The only reason they are harder to find is that EBMM stopped making the really flecky sparkle paint jobs. Would I call them rare, they're out there but you really have to hunt them down. Maybe someday way, wya off in the future they might be rare. As long as EBMM doesn't bring back those colors or painting styles.

I personally have 2 Axes (As Jimi D explained) 1 with a trem and 1 without. These are sweet and versital (spelling) guitars.

The black sparkle is cool, does it have a matching headstock?? Let's see some of your own pics!!!

Enjoy, Glenn |B)

OC I'm living that dream!!

It's going to be quite a while before I can make another EBMM acquisition.

I have a few more pics of my EB/MMs, but I can't post them due to size limitations (you're only allowed a total of 100k of attachments?). Is there any way around this?
