Brothers and Sisters, if this is too OT, please let me know, but I've seen worse recently in this very forum.

Would love to hear your comprehensive, unbiased (of course) reviews of your experience playing your EBMMs thru the GB Streamliner 600 or 900.

Want to hear the goods, the bads (if any) the favorite settings, the favorite cabs. If I would ever convert from my current fav amp, MB Tube 500, I need conviction! (not to mention, about a thousand bucks).

Pulled trigger on a used one. Thanks John. Will be played thru a Berg HS210 and GB uberquad like yours.

I recently picked up the STL600 although I haven't played my Music Man basses with it too much. I have mixed feelings so far (played with one or two 1x12s). It sounds great solo, but kind-of gets lost with the band. However, I still have to play with it more as I am generally a "set it and leave it" type of player.

Fantastic HUGE tone IMO. I see the Streamliner as more of a 'meat and potatoes' type of amp...eg it gives you a big classic tone, yet it has that quick articulation the Markbass amps possess, (and other manufacturers).

There's alot of tones to be had by twisting those little knobs. I too was a set it and forget it guy, but love the flexibility this amp provides. If you keep the gain down, you can get a nice clean articulate tone, but turn that gain up and you get that tubey sound so many of us are looking for in an extremely lightweight head.

I've owned and gigged a 900 for a couple of months, and remain extremely impressed. It is versatile, and getting a good tone of out if only involves playing with a handful of knobs, unlike some modern amps.

To date I've run it into an Epifani UL610, Epifani UL210, SWR Goliath Jr and a Mesa Powerhouse 212. It has sounded great with all those cabs, and with every bass I own - which includes EBMM basses.

The Streamliner has huge bottom end, so the bass knob should be used with caution, much like the bass control on an EBMM bass. Sound guys have commented on how noiseless the DI signal is from the Streamliner, so it's been a great purchase for me so far.

Streamliner 900

I love mine, it gives my upper mids the perfect warmth they lack with solid state.

My Sterling H loved it! If you think it gets lost in the mix with its awesome P bass warmth, move the mid freq to 2.5K & go wild... put your bass at 9 O'Clock & you're good promise

let me know if you ever decide to get rid of it. I'm dying to give one of these a try.
