Wait and play the JP50 when it comes out and see for yourself. I'm sure it's gonna be good but no JP6 :)

Welcome to the forums!!
If money is an issue, I would defintely try a Sterling JP, I'm sure you'll love it. Music Man wouldn't put there name on something they didn't believe in.

money is an issue , but i can wait like 1 more year to be able 2 get it "the jp6" but u kno 550$ is not like 1800$ :S
and ofc i don`t wanna waste 550$ and 200$ for shipping it instead of waiting
so i dunno,,,

The JP50 isn't out yet so no one knows about the neck except BP I guess. I'm sure reviews will come as soon as they hit the street over here and we can help you make a better decision.

This may or not be important to you:

The JP6 is the only EBMM guitar that is 1 11/16 at the nut. All of the others are 1 5/8. That is 41mm vs. 43mm. All of the sterling models are 42mm at the nut.

Dont go by the looks.. As the JP50 is not out yet.. There is no-one YET to provide a review.. I am sure its gonna be top notch but its not a EBMM JP thats for sure.. you got the neck finish.. pickups.. woods.. lotta factors.. As most guys suggested, wait for reviews on the JP50 and decide for ueself.. Whatever it is, I am sure its gonna be great.. And dont mind about waiting, guys here have waited about 8 yrs for the JP to be available Left-Haned .. You got lotta time to get your finances in order if you take that in context ;)

I had an Ibanez neck-thru RG before I bought my JP6. I will never go back. Buy one used and you will have the ultimate guitar!
