Anyone using GHS Fast Fret string cleaner ever notice any build up on their fretboards?

I have an old Ibanez RG that I used to use Fast Fret as a string cleaner on before and after playing and over time I noticed some build up by the frets. I was going to start using this on my Axis but I wasn't sure if it was compatible with the unfinished maple fretboard.

I already am aware of Wonder Wipes, however I have always used GHS Fast Fret as a string cleaner.

i don't use any of that cause the strings get sticky after a while, wash my hands before play so they last longer.

there's always the Ernie ball String Cleaner if you are afraid of leaving build ups

but I use Fast Fret on my JP fairly often too and nothing bad happened yet....

I also much prefer either Ernie Ball string cleaner or FingerEase. I will say, I never, ever spray finger ease on the string or neck. I spray it on a cloth, and use the moistened cloth on the strings to clean them

JP DRENCHED his BFR in Finger-Ease at the Perth Clinic.

He didn't have any on him, so the hosts sent a worker for an express dash to their shop to get some.

It arrived about 10 minutes after he started.

When it arrived he stopped mid-sentence and said "Ahhh, it's here !! " - then went on to explain how much he uses it.
(as he was spraying copious amounts directly onto the strings / fretboard.)

I live by Finger Ease as well. I think it's MUCH less sticky than Fast Fret. I use Wonder Wipes when I want to clean, Finger Ease between playings...

every 2 weeks I use it and I love it. no build up at all. I use a 3M polishing cloth for all neck work.

I should add - I keep FingerEase and a cloth on stage with me everytime, and wipe down the strings after each set to keep them feeling new and clean.

I use finger ease as well. And like above, I also have a cloth to wipe it down after I'm finished.
