Here is some video from my recent gig opening for Robin Trower with Phil Brown. I played the 25th.... I've said it already, but... damn - this is one fine bass! Check out the clips, they're pretty good.... but the audio could be better as far as the bass goes. Oh well. Interesting note, if you watch Crossroads, you may wonder why we are in the dark for the first three minutes. Turns out, Trower was feeling a little intimidated by our guitarist, so he told the house guy not to turn on the lights! Pretty lame huh? Well, someone from our crew finally got to him and made him turn on the lights. I guess we should feel lucky that they put us in the freakin' PA!

Njoy.

Great stuff Ed, shame about the light problem and the vague bass sound, I've tried a 25th Anniversary yesterday at the Knucklehead UK bash and I am also sold on that bass.

Very cool. Trower and his band are awesome too. Trower is one of the nicer musicians I have done sound for. Thanks for posting!

He seemed nice when I met him backstage, but (luckily) at the time I didn't know he was responsible for the lights being shut down on us!

I also got to chat with Glenn Letsch, very nice guy.

Awesome stuff. Thanks for posting these. Still could hear you in spite of the sound quality, and it sounded great. You all were tight.

Sorry to hear about the "technical difficulties"... I don't think it did anything to detract from your presence to the crowd as a whole though!

Thanks for posting! Cool stuff!

Yes. It can be a drag if you're opening for other bands.
But I guess you knew that allready.

Okay, your guitarist really has to cut those string ends. They are downright dangerous!

Nice clips!

You should see his studio.... he's got like... 12 guitars on stands, all of them with the strings pointing out like that. I kept imagining a 4 year old walking through the room and getting poked in the eyes by 72 strings... I don't get it... why not just clip them?

Well, he plays pretty good in spite of it.
