Larry (mobay) steps up to play some authentic Finnish folk music.

Speaking of smallequestrian, he can sing, too!

No basketball outfits, but we still managed to have fun.

You see no actual beer?

Offered as evidence:

Believe me, in this place, there is PLENTY of beer.

And I have no idea what you're talking about as far as the strings on that blue Bongo go. So there. Biotch.

Great gig for Cowpilot!

Everyone had a good time. Nobody was arrested in the bar. No small animals were harmed when "Folsom Pinball Wizard Blues" was played.

I don't know what "Hotel California" sounds like in Finland, but we've apparently been listening to two different versions of "Hotel California". ;) :D

Looks like a fun time. Any idea if Cowpilot or Railhead are gonna have gigs around Christmas this year?

Jacko. Your gig pics always leave me thinking what a cool thing it is to have a handfull of forumites in one area. I need to move to Texas. Well, at least visit.

Next time I visit my brother in Sugarland, I'll have to look you guys up. That looks like my kind of bar, too! Where's the chicken wire?

It's great to have these guys in the same town, and Paul lives close enough to that bar to walk, I think. But it can be a little intimidating having such great bassists hanging around (at least for a hack like me).

Calling what I did singing, is an insult to the very word.

It's not really a 'singing' song. It's more like a 'screaming' song. You did fine, but someone noticed your hand in your pocket. At least you got up! What happened to Ray?

dont think that I didnt notice that red silk right off the bat.

Oh, I knew you would, but thanks to Steve for pointing it out just in case you weren't looking closely!

Strings aside, those basses got a lot of attention last night, and not from just the regular bass junkies. "Look at the flames!"
