So the LawDaddy, Ms. LawDaddy, and our beloved Rosy ASS played at the Redwood City Blues Festival last month in the SF Bay Area with Frankie Lee.

First, some EBMM content. Here's one setting up, it's the only pic of The Shoes:

View from the front. You can see from the blur that this is rhythm-heavy gig. Frankie Lee is a Founding Father of the West-Coast Soul/Blues sound, and there is much groove on the gig. The Axis SS with the DiMarzio 36ths is a RHYTHM MACHINE. The split coils get funky, and the neck soloed is a very unique sound I favor (as it appears here in these pics).

If I had a LawDaddy Signature Axis Justice model, my ad would say "My EBMM lets me cut a pocket so deep you can lose your change in there". I think these two pics speak volumes:

Here's a nice closeup showing the grain of the neck joint:

Onto the fun. So Frankie always insists on getting down with the crowd on the floor. No stairs, no problem - he simply climbs off the stage front with no warning:

He moves through the crowd with Ms. LawDaddy carrying the mic cable (she knows the drill):

Frankie finds a friend:

Time to climb back up, with Ms. LawDaddy assisting:

Thanks again to BP and crew for such a great instrument. I hope posting photos like these makes the EBMM crew smile by seeing how we use their fine products to entertain the folks who support live music, and in my case, the blues.

Tommy: I'm an original owner of a mid-'90s amber EVH, I used to gig it with Frankie Lee before I got the Rosy ASS. A present from the Ms. LawDaddy, got me hooked on EBMM. Time to break it back out? I need the Floyd saddles replaced, they're all corroded.

Andy: You can't play the blues unless you have the shoes. Period. End of story. Thanks for having my back :)
