GIG REPORT: Travis Larson Band LIVE at The Frog & Peach!!

Hi fellow musicmen. Yesterday, the Travis Larson Band kicked off their summer/fall tour at the Frog & Peach in their hometown San Luis Obispo, CA. It was an honor to be there in support for Travis Jennifer & Dale. All of them ripped it like no tomorrow; a show full of energy with blistering riffs from Travis using the new improved JP6 that got injured by United Airlines employees. Kudos to Dudley on an awesome repair, I could not even feel where the crack was!

Jennifer was as always beautiful and she flawlessly laid down the bass lines with so much good energy; truly a one a kind musician and gal. I finally got to meet Dale, who pounded the drums with precision. All in all, an awesome start for three wonderful musicians. Can't hide the love I have for these guys. My holy trinity of musical influences is now officially Satriani, Lukather and Larson!

New TLB fan here. Just 'discovered' them a few months ago via youtube... bought the latest DVD about a month ago. (yeah...it ROCKS...)
The music / style they play is just about perfect to me. I can totally hear the Morse/Dregs influence and the songs are nothing but tasty.... I really appreciate how they add just enough flash & effects to enhance the songs...
REALLY hope to get to see them live someday...
