Just played first full-length gig w/ the Space Heaters w/ my new trans-gold/rosewood SR5, and had a blast and sounded killing. Think, strong and funky, and I definitely felt like I had full control of the dancefloor. Played through my Eden Traveller into Avatar 15 and 12 cabs.
Interestingly, the best sound for my mostly fingerstyle playing was the single-coil mode. Clears out the midrange a bit, but with a bit more high end.
The strong, punchy SR5 sound really delivers, esp w/ a big band like the heaters.
