Hey all... I got the new SUB fretless out in the trenches this past weekend. I put my usual GHS Pressurewounds on it to start, but changed to some Brite Flats today after experimenting a bit more. It's a bit thicker sound, which contrasts well with the brightness of the active pre and the sound of the bass overall. I couldn't ask for a better sound either way. Here are some pics... not great, but it was a darker room. Better than nothing!

haha... yeah, that group is the funk/jazz/bluegrass group that i've been working with for a few months now. sort of like a more mainstream flecktones type thing... a bit poppier, but we do a lot of cool instrumentals and such that are pretty challenging.
