NY/NJ Fanboys - My Bongo and I will be taking the stage at Rhythms in Manville, NJ, Friday night (Rhythms Of The Night / JP's Steakhouse).

Stop in, feel the rumble - and say "Hi"!

It's our second time there and we will once again enjoy the support of Coors Lite who are co-sponsoring the night. Freebies and Coors Lite Girls all night long. :)

Pics to follow...

If I was still living in NJ I would certainly drop in - although I'm in Somerset it's not the one with a Manville in it! :D

Have a great time and try and post some pics if you can. I love gig pics, especially if there's bongo's and stuff in them.

Success...

He guys - gig was a blast. We rolled out a set of new subs and shook the place "all night long"... :p

We did not have a heavy "friendly" fan-base - only about two dozen or so friends of the band on hand. But with about 200+ people in the club we had great feedback and now some "new friends of the Band".

I'll have pics up on our site later today/tomorrow. We'll back there in November - on a Saturday...

Pics anyone?

Got our pics up - check 'em out right here: Phil 'n the Void! - pics_090529

Unfortunately, no shots of the Coors Lite girls! They co-sponsored the night with drink specials and freebie give-aways. Our January show also featured them - we have a shot or two of them from that show.

We've received great feedback and will be back there on a Saturday night in November.

Great pics, and the Bongo looks great (as they do)

Looks like everyone enjoyed themselves, a bit sweaty towards the end?

Hi Anthony, thanks for the pics, looks like a good venue and everyone seems to be having a great time! Love the Bongo, nice colour, and I bet it sounds even better. Can't pass any sexist comments on the Coors Lite girls though since you seem to hiding them from us...

Great Pics! And I like your sound too (went to your homepage and listened to a couple of songs - your Bongo sounds just like my Stingray :D).

Are you playing through 10's or 12's? 6 of em?? Man that's some serious sound. It's your tone, though, that really stands out.

Lookin good, Anthony.

As I approached my wife between sets she says "What you spill on yourself?"

To be honest, only one showed-up and someone had to point her out to me. Our first time out there in January Coors Lite had much more of a presence - there was a fantastic MC who worked the crowd between sets and the Coors Lite girls spent time on stage with us during our second set dancing and throwing our hats and T-shirts. This time around it was much more low-key.

Thanks so much! I'm all about the 10s - love it tight and punchy. I currently use six (2x10 and 4x10 cabs). I played around with a few combination of 10s and 12s last year and always came back to all 10s.

We're actually planning to get into a studio in the next month or so to record 5 or so tracks "live" - we're not completely happy with what we currently have recorded, but it's all we got.

Gotta love the attack of an EBMM bass - nothing gets in our way! :D
