We played an outdoor charity fundraiser yesterday. Thought you might like to see what a bunch of geriatrics, Gill excluded of course, get up to in the UK at a weekend. Unusually it wasn't raining and was quite hot, well for here anyway.

I was playing without PA support through an Epifani UL502 and two 1x12s. The SR5 was beautifully growly, punchy and cut right through the mix.

Great shots! The bass is classy--did the graphite neck get sticky in the heat?

Heh....why is it always the singer that can't remember their parts and have to use a music stand for the words?

Thanks. Not at all. By the time we were on it was cloudy and a light breeze. I find it stickyness more of a problem with wooden necks.

I know, after all all they've got to do is learn the words. Maybe it's a blonde thing;)

Nice shots! Looks like a great time.

I've got a guitar player/singer who can break free of his music stand - drives me crazy!

Great pics Dave. Did your mum put your trousers in the clothes dryer by mistake?

Give us a break Mark - there are only a few days a year us Brits can break out 3/4 length shorts let alone shorts.....:)

Where's the flood? :D

... I still sneak a music stand when I can, and when I can't my music is usually on top of my amp. I'm afraid of the "Duh, what instrument do I play again?" moments I have some times.

Great shots Dave. Outdoor gigs are fun no matter where you get a chance to play them.

Maybe you can talk Mark into sending you a shirt to go with the britches. :)

I've got one or two like his. I used to wear them with a former band but as they were playing after us I though it might confuse people. ;)
