Due to an ongoing back problem, my gigs over the last couple of weeks have been seated on a stool for the most part. To begin with, it really killed the gig experience, but now I have done 4 or so like this, I am sort of getting into it! Mind you, when I am fully recovered, I cant wait to start jumping about again!

Anyone here had a similar experience?

Ive only done acoustic gigs seated or stooled, but for the rock crowd you gotta stand and move, yours is a different situation though, but seated it comfy -

No personal experience  .

But didn't Jeff "Skunk" Baxter always sit on a stool when he was with the Doobie Brothers? I think he used to say that he preferred the playing position seated so he did.

Its hard to put your foot on the monitor when you are sitting!

Why yes, Michael, he did.

I prefer kicking back on a stool, when the gig allows. Just feels more relaxed; no pressure to 'posture'.
