sorry to brag but, I haven't been this excited since I saw Palladino back in the 80's
He's playing tonight and Wed nite at the Tabernacle in Atl. Ga. with John Mayer and Steve Jordan, as the John Mayer Trio

I know some people don't dig John Mayer(mainly because of his voice or that he's on the radio often) but that cat can seriously play. Not to mention he has great taste in bassists. Pino is one of my all-time favorites. If they come this way I'll be checking them out for certain.

There are some live concert bootlegs (legal) available of the John Mayer Trio, and that is a nice tight blues band. Give them a listen if you can find them. Of course the bass sounds like crap for the most part, but still cool.

John Mayer plays a pretty mean guitar on the Crossroads DVD (good DVD). Made me want to run down the halls of my high school!
