definatly looks like gold sparkle to me, or at least some sparkle color, i definatly dont think its a 2004 cause of the discontinuation of sparkle colors, nice lookin bass though

It's Medallion Gold. He says its a 2004 model and the "sparkle" is very subtle. If you would use a flash on my Candy Red bongo you would see a similar look.

I love Medallion Gold as a color.

Medallion Gold was one of the colors I considered recently when I ordered my fretless SR4. Great color!

Its medallion gold for sure. Just like one of my old StingRays.

Yes, medallion gold had a very metallic look to it. In some lights it even looked like a light sparkle finish.

It would look great on a Bongo with a tort.

Thanks that one wound up selling to Mr. Chris Workman (cgworkman) here at the forums. That was a really good StingRay.

I know he had to get rid of it to get a StingRay 5 to replace his that got stolen, but who has it now???
