I'd need a lot more than a good putter to help my putting ...

What a great game. (Except when I'm adding up my scorecard.)

i've been puts in really pretty decently for me lately...... maybe because my chipping has just about exceeded any other part of my game besides iron shots and I don't have to putt near as far :p

Seriously as putters go what you desire to feel has more to do with anything than just the name (like guitar necks) I got lucky and found a Jack Nicklaus Golden Bear malet putter that does what I want it to and if feels so good and the price?? if I remember around $20. Its considered a beginner club but for me it feels as good as the top brands in the pro shop.

BP just out of curiosity what golf company makes clubs similarly to how you build guitars ...... they do the best work in house in the U.S. and innovates with practical products that aren't gimmicks that are actually thought out for the consumer.
