Was just on Facebook for the first time in a week,

Found this - not a lot else to day, love and all that to the ball family, and huge respect to Mr Ball senior.

7 Years Ago today, our company founder and guitar string pioneer Ernie Ball passed away. Rest In Peace Ernie, We miss you every day!!!

Thanks for the good thoughts

Thinking of you mate. Just think something your Dad achieved still brings enjoyment to many people all around the world, including me for the last 27 years. I started playing Ernie Ball strings based on an interview in Guitar Player in 1984 and I still have that mag next to my bed now.

Yes, especially in the San francisco East Bay area, back in the day, Super Slinky was the ONLY strings rockers wired up with. And, still to this day - it is THE familar packaging that is as much a part of the "scene" as any other piece of gear.

It has the same venerated position occupied by amplifier/guitar legends such as Marshall, Fender, Gibson, from the past.
