My band is taking part in a showcase at Michael W. Smith's "Rocket Town" park this weekend. We'll be there along with a bunch of other bands. One of the audio/visual guys from our church is coming too to video our trip.

The Morse is going with me as my #1. I have the Tele in case I break a string. I'm looking forward to this....:D

We're Back...

We made it back from Nashville with no problems. It was a great trip and I'll go into more details a bit later (when I catch up on work). I will say though, that, while it wasn't really a contest (batle of the bands), there were judges. These judges were from production companies, record labels, and such. They watched our set, while filling out score cards and making notes. The responses from the judges were very positive. Every time they said something positive, I expected a "but" after; but it didn't happen. I'll give more details today....

I don't worry about outdoing anyone. As Popeye says, "Iyam what Iyam and that's all that Iyam...."

We ate some really great BBQ at Jack's on Broadway and then walked up the strip but that was about it.
