Btw, I've never seen a lava pearl stingray, does it exist?? what are the differences between lava pearl and radiance red?? I like both but the lava pearl is not an upgrade

Have you tried Steve's music down on St Antione...I bought a Sterling and also a 20th annniversary stingray from them...They always seem to have a nice selection.

You're welcome - mine looks more orange in the photos than in real life. While it's not as red as RR is, my SR5 appears more red in some lighting than those pictures show....

Hey Lowmid,

It's a little outta the way, but there is a MM dealer in St hyacinth sounth of Montreal. Centre de musique Victor - Magasin de musique au centre-ville de Saint-Hyacinthe

I dealt with cmvictor after I got tired of dealing with Steve's in Montreal. Great friendly service. I ordered my 20th anniv SR5 from them and was very satisfied. Remi the (owner) even set it up to my liking on the spot, so that I can plug and play when I got home.

If you are willing to drive a bit, there's also Long & McQuade's in Ottawa.

Steve's is the only place in Montreal that I know about. The last time I saw (about a month ago) they had 3 basses in Blue Dawn (I can't remember the pickup configurations - one had a tort guard), one in Dargie Delight and 2 or 3 others; SR5s, Sterlings and StingRays. I don't remember if I saw a Bongo or not.

By the way, Steve's does not list their EBMM stock on their website. They do sell some stuff from the site, but it is usually only low end stuff and starter packs. You have to go to the store (or maybe call) to see what they actually have in stock. They can also transfer stock between their Ottawa and Toronto locations.

Oh man, If I don't find my 30th SR4 in NY I think I'll make a trip to Steves. Which model and PU config was it?

I believe there is a SR5 HH in lava pearl, rosewood board, in the Long&McQuade here in Victoria. I am not sure what their policy regarding inter-store transfers is, but I do know that the guys here are always grumbling that "every time we get a nice bass here some tool in Toronto has us transfer it back east!"

Crap, I don't remember. All I know is that it wasn't a Bongo. You could give them a buzz and ask them. You might want to ask about the green sparkly one because I doubt if they know it as a Dargie, but you never know.
