its the blue pearl with pearloid pickguard. was wondering somthing about the neck. i feels like a smooth wood finish but at the head stock it goes into a thik layer of poly . it that right is that the way the neck is suppose to be. no gloss on the backside but the headstock got gloss?

Yes, there is a poly finish on the headstock and at the nut it switches to the oiled finish.
