Got My Albert Lee BFR

After waiting for 8 Months i finally got my Albert BFR and love the feel and action of the neck.....best neck i have ever played....even better than the Axis.

This guitar is capable of admirable preformance with high gain pedals and amps.Tunned down half a step you can get some really nice Hendrix and Stevie Ray as well as Jeff healey Tone.....very underatted.

I like what Albert Lee does and how he plays....but this guitar can do it all! as well a the best clean tone going.

Nice playing, too. Thanks for sharing. Ordinarily I do not get along with single coils, but the Albert Lee BFR is something special and I had to get one. Being that it is pink and sounds better for the song than the JP does, I bring it onstage for Pink Floyd's The Wall pt 2...

Yes, it is from The U of A (Alberta) if i would have known i was going to post this i would have worn something decent....Looks like i am either getting ready for bed or golfing at a very low end golf course ha ha,.

i guess it could be the University of Albert..A or..Eh! as we say in Canada .never even crossed my mind.Thanks for pointing that out. The syncronicity of the shirt didn't even cross my mind at the time.

These single coils respond well to high gain and i see no problem with using them in heavy material, Thanks in part to the reverend drive train II OD pedal i use....it adds extra bass to singles and was used by Joe Bonamassa to bulk up his Strats when he played live,Hard to find pedal but woth its weight in gold for this feature alone.

Nort sure what BT this is i will look and see....sorry i don't have that info on hand.

Hello Wolf Bean

I already mentioned the Reverend DriveTrain II OD but i also used a BBE sonic stomp and a Boss DD2 delay i bought new in 83, and a Boss CE 1 pedal mfrom early 80's as well.
The amp used was my Marshall 1959 re issue hand wired 100watt head through my Marshall 1960 cab with 4 25watt greenbacks as well as a boogie 1 12 cab seen on this side.To keep the loudness in check i use a Tom sholz Power soak also form 1982....these old pedals have served me well over the years.
