As some of you know my JP's jack was damaged by a monster cable. I sent it to EB for repair and a set up and a re-oil for the neck. The day after they got it the repairs and set up was done!

So I was to recieve it yesterday and it got sent to my old address!!!! So I called UPS and they said I could wait 3 days to get it sent to the NEW address or pick it up tomarrow, I said I WILL PICK IT UP!!!!! So the place was 10 min from my work so no big deal. But as soon as I get it I open the box up in my car and open the case (at this moment I am praying that it didnt get damaged in shipping!!!) So I open the case and the bridge is totally out of whack! All 3 springs had fallen out! And the ground wire was disconnected from the claw! So I took it to work (I teach at a music store) and I took it in the back room and in 10 min I was playing my wonderful JP! And I have to say that the tech who did the set up on my guitar is AMAZING!!!!! The neck feels like silk!!!!!!!!! All the other teachers at the shop were SO jelous of it!!!!!

Anyway Just thought Id share!

Well I "guess it was damaged" but, it took 10 min to fix it. I looked it over very well and there were no other issues that I see at the moment at least. (Ive been playing it for the past 9 hours on and off since I fixed the "damages" and it seems VERY solid) although I havent tried the piezo yet. I have to say the stereo jack sounds better than ever!!!!!!

God I love this guitar!

And yes the set-up was amazing! After I re installed the springs the guitar was ever so slightly out of tune! That says ALOT about how good EB is! And I asked that the neck be re oiled by EB. And its imho the best feeling, smoothest, neck ever created by man!

In your 1st post you said the groundwire was disconnected from the claw. What do you mean by that, cause I dont have anything but the springs connected to the claw of my JP?

I'm I missing something here, or is there possibly something wrong with my Pet?

Thanks!!

Edit: Sorry, there indeed IS a groundwire in the claw. It was just hidden too well :)
