I walked in the door late from work tonight and found a box with an EB/MM sticker and knew she'd finally come home. I opened the box and pulled out my guitar before I even kissed my kids.
As most of you know by now, I sent my Pearl Redburst Petrucci back to Jon to have him seal the neck and level the frets.
I remember the first time I ever played a Petrucci and felt the tung-oiled neck. I thought, "I can never go back to playing laquered or urethaned necks again". Well the feel of the sealed neck is even smoother. It doesn't appear to alter the appearance of the maple at all and feels just great. I strongly urge any of you who live in the north-eastern part of the country to have it done. I don't know if it will actually combat moisture but it's an upgrade in feel that's worth the effort.
My Petrucci came from the factory as all the others do: 1/16" at the twelfth fret. My high E was a little higher (5/64") at the twelfth. Jon did a magnificent job leveling my frets and setting the action. I haven't measured it, so I don't know if it's actually 1/32" but I do know it plays significantly better than it did from the factory. The action is much lower and the tension is so playable. It feels like the first Petrucci I ever played. The one that made me say: "I have to have one of these guitars, and soon".
Jon, thank you so much for your workmanship and service. I hope your boss(es) read this forum and know what an asset you are to Ernie Ball/Music Man.
Thank you.

My 5 year old son loved the EB stickers!
