it is the little red box....i dont know if they are still in production....got this one off ebay.

pretty easy to use too! :)

Isn't the VF-1 pretty much a GT-5 processing system put into a rack mount? I remember a friend of mine bought one when they first came out but returned it because he thought it was redundant with his GT-5... Anyway, I like my GT-6 a lot; hope you have as much fun with that little box!

No, it's not. The Boss GX700 is pretty much a GT5-in-a-rack.
The VF-1 is 24 bit (with 32 bit internal), has a lot more studio-FX. It isn't a dedicated guitar-fx-processor!!

i noticed that there was a lot of other goodies on this baby. i didnt really do my homework before buying it, but it does work nicely for guitar!
