Just couldn't have one

finally sold some basses on Ebay and the Perfect Bass was ready to help me with my new addiction.

Here are 2 quick photos of the twins. I am not a photographer so these aren't anything great. The Silver is the new one. Fresh off of the Fed Ex Truck. Setup like a dream and ready to play.

Now all someone has to tell me is that they have a 6 string fretless and the buying fever will be back.

as I am colorblind :)

the blue does change with the light, it is a medium blue. Really nice. The silver has a look like a sports car. Really surprised. I was always a wood grain man but these basses are so nice to play and the paint jobs are top notch I don't notice anymore.

as for which one I like better, not sure, the silver is too new. maybe after this weekend or practice tonight I will have a favorite.

Beautiful basses.

I don't think I'd be able to play a unlined fretless...

But on the other hand, wasn't Jaco's fretless technically a lined fretless?

Yes. After digging the frets out with a table knife, he filled the grooves with wood putty, which created lines/markers.

Those are two beautiful basses - I love that Blue Perl, more than the silver I think

I have a suggestion: how about getting an order in for a Dargie 2 6er fretless with an ebony board? :D

Dreaming, I'm dreaming...
