Yup. This-

...will get sold next year if not later this year. The new Sterling 5 corrects all the aesthetic issues I have with the 'Ray5. I got to play a Sterling 5HS this afternoon, and although my Bongo6 has that p/up config, this Sterling 5 sounded very different. I was totally inspired with the tone along with the looks...along with the feel. I had it in my head to get the HP version, but after today, it's HS for me.

T, may I ask which switch position on SL 5 HS You tried like the best?

How do You like the 3 band EQ on the same one?

Sterling HS is a great bass. Had to sell mine to fund a Classic 5er but I do miss switch position 4.

I never bothered with the EQ.
I liked the 2nd from the neck and all the way over to the bridge positions best.
