Check this out...I recently went out of town. I had to fly (i prefer to drive) because of the short notice. I decided I could not be without my guitar for 2 weeks. So, I put one (not my petrucci by the way) in a case and got it checked in and what not. It was in a hard shell case and locked. I arrived at my destination and WHAM...my case came out, busted at one buckle and looked like a gorilla jumped on it for hours at a time! Just so you know....I took my OLP (gotta have a road guitar) and decided to check the guitar. The other buckle fell off (looks like the baggage guys tried to put the thing back on) and the guitar was still there. Looks like it was run over! LOL....i have some great tire marks on it. Believe it or not, the neck was fine and still set up fairly well! I of course got an insurance claim on it so I should see some compensation. The funny part is, I went to a music store, plugged it in and it works. After a tuning, it played as well as it could play. I got some respect for these guitars now.....takes a lickin', keeps on tickin'!:D When I get the pics done, I will post them. You gotta see this thing. Mangled!
