Ahhh... so many threads with so many people waiting for their Bongos. I'm just another of the many. But I have to put it out there none the less. I'm told it should be shipping the first week of August. 5 string black sapphire with a moonstone pickguard, 2 H and a piezo. Fully loaded. Who could ask for anything more.

Someone else here has the same color, I know cuz I stole the pic a while back. Who was that? I'd be happy if you posted more pics so I could get all warm and fuzzy while I'm waiting for mine.

That's the one that we weren't sure exactly what color it was (in a previous post a few weeks ago). Black sapphire, graphite pearl, or carbon blue. It shows some color in the highlights and shadows. Turns out its just reflections. It's black.

Gotta hand it to ya Joe. You ordered exactly what you wanted instead of grabbing one off the rack at GC. You've got Nerve!

I got a delivery date for October/November for the same Bongo but Carbon Blue/Moonstone. It will be the only one of its kind here in Turkey and the wait is killing me.
