Plays and sounds really nice right out of the box.......Feels pretty close to Big Bro(AXIS).
I'm actually stunned how close it gets in feel to the "real" deal I have owned in the passed.
Pickups seem a bit "hotter".......but I have not adjusted to my liking.

More time to dial this one in this weekend......what a nice surprise.

Purchased to strip it down and re-furb into my dream AXIS,gonna wait for something a bit more in need.

He took a few pics and let me select which top....again,was gonna stripped and do me one up just for me.
But its too pretty to messed with......I will disassemble and tweak a few things for my taste, but out of the box ,the only thing that needs to be address are some fret sprout which will take all of 15 minutes to fix(happens to $4000 case queens to $99 specials) and the tremolo claw ground wire needs attached with solder(Was not a bit of solder on the ground wire or claw)............and I have lower the pickups tom taste.

I have Big Block in the parts drawer that I'll see if it'll fit on the the wiggle bar unit.

I really dig the AX40 series. I have the blue and it is a very solid guitar. Nice score.
