BLACK MAGIC CRYSTAL!!! Got to see it at the BP/JP GC Sessions. Both my wife and I got some really good pictures of a Stingray bass (I beleive) in this great color.

Oh and they had an ASS in this color as well.

This one is kind of crappy, it's from behind the wall of glass.

But then, they (GC) offered to open the doors. Thanx guys. :)

The black BFR that he was playing in Boston. Is the black magic crystal the same color?

-Phil

Pretty sure it's a different color Phil, a light sparkle as opposed to the black magic color.

Here are the three rare pieces (two are proto's)
second is a new color exclusive to jp it is alder bodied with a finish that is a very very slight sparkle that is silky black with a killer roasted birdseye neck

I like ....Glenn does it look like our type of sparkle like on the Sterling Bass i got from you ...Cause the sparkle in My Silver Sparkle AL is bigger than the sparkle in the bass....or does it really depend on the light to show it off?...Thanx in Advance bro!

The finishes are totally different. You can see what the GC / Black Magic Crystal looks like, while the JP finish is a Black Pearl type.

I've never been a fan of sparkle finishes (probably because I have not seen them in person and photos on the web do not do them justice), but that black magic crystal finish on the Stingray is absolutely awesome!

I'm mesmerized!

Scott, so the Black Magic Crystal is a GC exclusive?? You won't be offering it on like the BP AL would you, I think that would be totally MINT!!!

From what I saw and remember man, it seems like smaller fleck, but in person and under the lights this is just total class!! Yah the Silver Sparkles are the older larger fleck, but the True Silver is the smaller newer fleck and in person I think it looks just as good.

I'm glad that everyone can see what it really looks like, when I saw they had it I said to my wife Wendy, oh, I gotta get some good pictures of it.
