Well it was a tuff decision, and the Luke was the most awesome guitar but it was slightly damaged...:( the silo special was brand new and a few hundred dollars cheaper.....but I have to tell you, the Luke was perfect otherwise! down the road....will post pics in a couple, thanks for all the words, please all you Luke heads don't be disappointed in me lol, now I need a good bridge pup for the silo, any recommendations? like something powerful!

I love the vintage output of the Silo Spec's pickups. The virtual PAF in the bridge is a very authentic sounding pickup and handles high gains beautifully! The LIII HSS set would be a very cool choice (though obviously the on board boost won't be with it).

Congratulations! I can't wait to see photos.

Nice Guitar! HNGD!! I love the look of the black pickups with the white pearloid pickguard. Check my avatar as I own it's little brother SBMM Silo30. I'm looking for some black pickups for mine for better sound and that look. Not sure what to get though.

IMHO, that silo looks perfect with the white on white(not a crime implication).:D:D:D:D

Ozzyrules, did you grab the same guitar? I think the color combo is a GC exclusive....thinking of changing the pickguard though to like an abalone or some kind of black variation.....

I read somewhere the Andy Timmons signature pup sounds outstanding as well in the Silo. I guess it depends for which sound one is searching. Kind of hard to figure out from just reading the descriptions on the different mfrs sites.
