Sounds great. So so great. Passive mode especially I think...there is something about that sound with bridge and middle pickups on. I am having one of these!

Man... now i am up in the air about a 25th and a Big AL. How does an Olive Gold AL with Vintage White PG, Rosewood board and Matching headstock sound?

Very nice vid, of a very nice bass. Kudos to BC for shooting this. I think that these vids, Brandt's, and Ed's are such a great help when shopping and comparing when the instruments aren't readily playable in an area.

I definately like what the Al's got goin' on for it.

Big Al before a Bongo? Probably! I have never seen a sexier bass.

Thanks to the BC guys for doing the vid, great to see and hear it in action and really really helpful for us furriners

I can only echo the other comments before me - that Big Al slap sound is just fantastic.

Geez, now that's another one I have to to add to the list...

sigh.

(takes Sharpie and draws line through "Bongo" on piggy bank, then scratches "Big AL" over it with a penknife...)

I love my Sterling becuase it does things my dual single-coil basses don't--and still does a lot of the things they do. It makes a perfect complement to them.

When I first saw the Big AL, I got a bit fluttery at the thought of 3 singles to choose from. Then I had a chance to skim over a Sterling HS and liked the neck single quite a bit.

That vid just completely taunts me as to what this thing might do. And, the thing just radiates "Cool."

(resigned, heads of to check color offerings and pulling out the sofa cushions along with household appliances to check for any lost change...)
