Hey everyone, My apologies for this tale of unusual experience, BIG Poppa and EBMM Customer Service Folks, I need your help to cipher my tale for Forum consumption .. Pleez;):)
I do Lefty Arm/hand therapy everyMon, Wed & Fri, but Tuesday is my day of rest or restlessness ...;)last Tues, I asked my guitar buddy , Muzz, to drive me over to the BIG, Bright, Bold new Long & Mcquade Superstore here in Vancouver, I've been feeling so, out of the scene for so long, and I needed to get to where I could GAS and make a deal on something just to help me feel alive again, so I figured that a new set of 5 string Slinkys would help me over my anxiety, the store is wheel chair Friendly and the Bright and Cheerful young lady bass player who greeted me was very helpful and quite successful in supplying me with a full set of Slinkys on the brilliant and innovative new Ernie Ball Music Man Slinky Sretcher, model #158302100, serial # F08221, sorry all, I have not yet brought the String Stretcher home yet nor do I have a camera to record its' beauty and innovative design, I must return early next week to complete the transaction for this incredible device which comes in the portable version complete with a black carrycase and includes a battery;):)
Al I can tell you is that I highly recommend the new L&M store in Vancouver and I think the young lady was at least as clever to serve my needs with this rare and progressive device, as BP and the SLOHands were for conceiving, building and creating such a special piece of EBMM history as this SLINKY STRETCHER;):)
She's quite a beauty in wrinkled maple, rosewood and a few important bits of metal, but as I say, I'm very sorry that I have no pics to share, but I will take care of that as soon as possible If BP can cipher the only data that I have on my transaction document ... and if anybody else in the Vancouver area needs some fresh SLINKYS, drop in to the new L&M store and get a set that includes a very beautiful and specialized String Stretcher in a black carrycase, I understand there are various different versions of String Stretchers in 4 and 5 string configurations;):)
As Always, BIG Thanx YouZ'All for your patience and support, and I apologize about no pics tonight;):)
ATB,
/PL:)

Pzo, next time, stop by the next digital picture recording device dealer BEFORE buying a new String Stretcher. OK?

forum membership requirements is rules

And, "Rules is rules" and must be respected ..
hey strummer, BIG Tnx for slicing me some slack and understanding on my Bad;):)
far be it from me to disrespect the basic requirement that without pics there can be no Slinky Stretcher, and Tnx Oli for the protocol sequence brief:cool::), In all my excitement to get over to L& M I neglected to prioritize the digital camera shop, but I do have an interesting side story to fill in the gap ... on the way across town, I had to make a sidetrip to the bank and on the way out of there, in our haste, Muzz was pushing my wheelchair and it caught a caster wheel in a groove in the concrete, and ejected the tire, creating a major setback, to deal with the emergency and help us get over to L&M, I called an address to him for the new location of my former employer and we stopped at John Valk BMW - Ducati motorcycles to arrange for John's Ace technician, Bob, to spoon the flopping tire back on the caster rim of my troubled wheelchair, all this while BMW and Ducati motorcycles are lined up for 3 weeks of backlog waiting to get in the shop for their annual spring maintenance operations at nearly $100 /hr, shop rate ... cost to me for emergency wheelchair service on the way to acquire a new EBMM SLINKY STRETCHER = No Charge. THANX, JOHN, THANX, BOB, and THANX, MUZZ ...;):)
so, to end this true tale, I can only repeat my apology for not supplying a fresh pic as evidence of my good fortune at L&M, and promise to keep doing my very best to live up to my EBMM Forum Membership
reqwuirements ... And, BP, sorry for the interruption and, thanks for your note from the road, here's the scoop YouZ'All, what the fuss is about is that I have no pic to show you of my new 20th SR5, HH in California Sunset, Rosewoood mhs, but I'm working on it at warp speed from my Wheelchair:)
AS aLways, BIG THANX YouZ'ALL for your patience, support and understanding:)
All The Bass,
/PL:)

here's the dirty part

Hey SMAK, Tnx for YOUr update, you probabvly viewed my new SLINKY STRETZCHER at L& M while you were there, as you may recall, Peter, & Tom at Act1 and Cowboy Jackgot me gassed up last year over the 20th SR5 and then I got word from Peter that the unit in question had been sold into a suburban location and then he got me all GASSED up for that 07LEBONGO HS/Piezo, and you can imagine my shock and disappointment to see that it had been flown to Texas for new action with the main Cowboy down there, so, there was a major void to be filled here and you can imagine how vulnerable I was at L&M last Tuesday, In fairness to Peter, I have to also Thank Him for tipping me that L&M was stocking 20th SR5s:cool::)otherwise, I'd have gone to Act 1 if I'd been in such a position that I was Intending to make a new acquisition, but, what got me last Tuesday at L&M was the great customer service on short notice , wheelchair accessibility, and very clever marketing.., BP and the powers at L&M ought to be quite proud of how the young lady bass player/ EBMM consultant, upsold me a new EBMM SLINKY STRETCHER all for me mentioning that I had 3 SR5s at home that were out of action for a year due to my condition and I needed some fresh SLINKYs to help me get restarted;):) ... Ohhh, I'm hooked:)
