Best bass amp I've ever played. Boatloads of headroom, power and Phat, Phat Tone! I paid $750 for mine used in perfect condition.
Check it out on Harmony Central:

Here is the description:
Mesa/boogie 400+bass amp(600 WATT 6L6 WXT)
Asking Price: US$800
Condition: Good
Age: 3 years
Description:

As you know these amps kicks a**!
This one is in very good condition and has always been reliable in my studio.
It has never been used for live gigs, so it has never left my studio.
Recently serviced by dbm PROAUDIO NYC.
New these amps retail for $1500, so you're getting a as good as new amp for
half price.
I'm selling it because I have to move back to South Africa and we use 220v
there.
Transformers are just too risky.
My loss your gain.

is it just me or do 3 out of 4 ads for amps say "was only racked in my studio" or something along those lines.

I only buy gear that spent the majority of it's life laying either in the gutter (see anniversary stingray auction 1 month ago), or laying in gravel (see trans red stingray auction 1.5 months ago), or being held by a redneck (see many stingray auctions).

but seriously, i want one to A/B with my m2000, it'd be sweet.

run the m200 into my aggie cabs and the 400+ into that mesa 6x10 i am trying to talk myself out of buying.
