That is a killer looking guitar. Most of the green ones (only 90 made) are very dark green, but this one looks very faded and the headstock almost looks blue. If I had an extra $4K, I would pick it up in a heartbeat!

I looks like it is a faded blue EVH. I would definitely do a serial # check on this one before consideration. I've never seen a "faded green" EVH. That headstock looks very, very blue to me.

It looks like the serial # off the checklist sheet is 80541.

Maybe the admins can confirm the color for us?

Colors in photos like that can be misleading. He'd be a moron to think he could pawn it off as a green (to collect extra $?). Most of the people paying that much for any guitar will make sure of what they're getting before they pay for it. Especially when the price asked is so much more than market value.

Side note:
I find the acceptance of this whole fading issue on the EVH's to be interesting. I don't have a beef with it per se. Yet, show up with an LP, PRS or (gasp) a Wolfgang that's had it's color faded and I can already hear the cat calls about shoddy production.

I'm somewhere in the middle. I think the fading on these models is unfortunate and even unacceptable. Yet it doesn't change what the guitar is. And frequently the effect is cool.

Faded or not, that's a sharp looking guitar. The price is outer limits though.
