are there any plans to bring more green stingrays in? isnt the dargie delight a limited edition? and i dont see trans teal on the website anymore. so whats the future of green stingrays, also what greens were offered in the past and is there a chance seafoam green will make a return with the classics next year? also anyone got any righteous green stingray pictures? i myself got a trans teal stingray and that color is gorgeous.

I had a mint DD SR 4 up for sale for quite some time here and on TB and no takers... I guess that's as much "green basses don't sell" as it gets...

Dargie

I disagree! I love green stingrays!
Especially the Dargie and the coming seafoam green.

actually i allready knew that about green things in general and them not selling hilariously enough, i think i got told that about 4 times whilst searching for a green stingray back when i was buying the one i got now. i remember having to special order it cause no one stocked green basses, they dont sell apparently. love the trans teal, the only color i liked more on the stingray was the seafoam green and they're allegedly bringing it back...with a vengeance!

what were some other past green stingrays besides seafoam green?

also found this while looking up green stingrays

There have been a few green Music Man finishes.

Trans Green, Envy Green, there was a special European finish that looked sort of like Hunter Green, Dargie I version Logan Green (aka Martini Olive Green) and then the Dargie IIs with the flip "caramel apple" paint.

I like green, too, but as long as the Big Instrument Retailers say they can't sell them........it is what it is.

Let's not forget the most famous of all green basses - Heinze. Where is that bad little girl anyway?

It is..................

I saw that one, but especially the DD green always seemed like a Bongo kind of colour to me ...

.................When it's on a Bongo! I have DD Bongo's and a Ray, same color, but both very cool in person. If you really like Green Stingray's check out the Dargie photos on The Perfect Bass. They are high quality, but still don't do "in person" any justice! ;)

yes! i remember seeing the metal flake green on ebay many years ago, never liked the trans green but did like the trans teal it still is my favorite color next to the seafoam and the envy green, envy green was such a pure shade of green it was awesome. and trans teal is a lot like seafoam just a lot more saturated of a color and wood grain lookin'
