Hey guys, new member here. I've got an Axis SuperSport MM90 that I pretty much enjoy everything about.

Definitely the only 'high performance' guitar I've ever kind of gotten along with. It plays incredibly, feels awesome, the neck's great, I just can't really get along with the tone. It's a great looking guitar, though and HAS sounded good, I just think the sound may be a little too modern for my taste.

Still, glad to be here, I got sick of the Duncan forums and I'm sure there's more than a few of you here that feel the same. Here's some porn for ya!

Welcome from a neighbor (sort of).

I have the same thing (see my avatar). The MM90's are really nice pickups, but they are different from either a humbucker or a single coil. I've found that they work really well for U2ish songs or for sets where the sounds are all so far apart that I'd rather have multiple guitars, but there simply won't be breaks, so I gotta have a do-all pickup.

Take some time. I bought mine used and the previous owner was nearly begging to buy it back after selling it to me. I picked up an Axis and was going to sell it, but after letting it sit for a while, tried it again and it became my favorite guitar.

It really is one of those guitars that isn't like anything else. It's not a growling LP or screaming Axis or singing Albert Lee.

Give it some time.
