I developed quite a bit of gas for a Silo Spec lately and seeing Grechten shred away clearly doesn't help...! She's really an outstanding player!

Colin, thanks for sharing those pics, the interview is excellent too (as usual!).

I am surprised a lot of the regulars are just seeing her for the first time as she has been posted on here quite a few times. That was a great tune and my favorite from what I have heard from her before. I will say it would of seemed like she was jamming with Steve Morse lately as she threw in a few Steve type runs. Also glad to see her in a video where the director did not dress her up with the teased hair and outfits like she was in the 80s, as I am to put it best without BP getting mad she is a beautiful woman and her playing says it all and this vid focused on that aspect. Boy Stu is looking like Sammy Hagar.

Colin I believe this is your work and a great interview indeed. YouTube - Gretchen Menn NAMM Interview

Gretchen has been a fan of Steves for many years....I think that I went to a show with her and her dad and sister at stanford in the early 90's.

Another kind warning....then not so kind. What an artist looks like is not important here...if you wouldnt post about a guy being good looking leave gretchen alone. We have run off nearly every woman that has joined. Seriously.

I knew better than to put that one word in there, but there was no disrespect meant in anyway. But I will take the flaming like a man, but it just ruined my 6 month good behavior streak!

Cool pics! Looks like San Francisco? Also noticed the video was shot in NYC and passobly San Francisco also? That's what it looked like to me.

I really like her tone in that video.

Could someone (BP?) confirm if those pickups are stock?

Here's an interview she does with DiMarzio, I believe the Neck and Middle pups are stock, with a FT-2 in the bridge. Around 1:20 in the video she talks about dropping the FT-2 in her blue Silo, for heavier stuff.

That's her Blue Silo though, but who knows, maybe she has the same setup in the her roasted? Gretchen rocks!

The bridge pickup of the guitar in the video doesn't look like a FT.
