Yous Guys,

Since I cannot find a pickguard for my Axis Sport MM90 and a custom is around $150. I ordered some Guitar Armor from....wait for it...guitararmor.com. Simple readily available clear non-adhesive vinyl.

I figure I can cover the whole guitar for $20! : )

Will you let me keep my EBMM? Will I be ostracized?

por que no? (english: wtfn?)

Pick scratches are showing on the finish right where a pickguard would be. Seems like a good idea. Anywho, it is thin and clear and is not supposed to leave any marks or residue.

Look, if it is an affront to all EBMM owners, I will sell it and go back to my Tele and be sorry for my transgression... : (

I've seen a guitar bra on a customer's LUKE and liked the idea. I will most likely be doing the same to my Dargie LUKE and JP in the near future. I can pinky swirl like there is no tomorrow, it must be the extra finger on that hand

I don't see any posts here that would lead me to believe that anybody is offended by your choice to use the guitar armor product. The only person that seems to be upset about it is you...

Nah...it's not the guitar armor that's an affront to us EBMM owners. It's that Tele. :p Seriously, use it if you want it. Who cares? It's your guitar. I think it's a fine idea. I did basically the same thing to my iPod nano.

If you dont like the Guitar Armor you can get a guard for less than 50 bucks. Here is a shot of my MM90 with the guard that I had made for it.

Ricman, the EB is actually a Axis Super Sport. I love the Quattro, I have had both the tremelo and chorus version. It is a great pedal that I thought I would never sell. Right now it is on ebay because I just bought a Hughes and Kettner Swtichblade 50 watt combo which has the effects built in.

Actually, it is now a Telebastard. I bought fresh from the USA factory in 2005. In fact it was too fresh. The finish wasn't dry when they packaged it so I got a discount on the marred finish. The list goes on and on. The only thing original is the body. The nut was marginal from the factory, Had to refret within a year. No one would refret the maple fingerboard. They all said "go buy a new one" blah, blah, blah, It is now fixed and I use it for slide now that I have my Axis Sport.
