Just checked into a hotel for a weekend run in a country band at a casino. Decided to see what has accumulated in my guitar case when I checked in. Here it is. Who else has this much crap in one case? ImageUploadedByTapatalk1374282685.223348.jpg

ha ha ha yeah... that was totally me a while back... i ended up just forcing myself to put everything in a gear bag to avoid accidental nicking of my guitars...

haha. I have a gig back that I put everything in. I tend to also be the bands "tech" and have essentials for the bass, guitar, and drums.

My #1 guitar case is my musicians handbag!

It contains 3 sets of strings, a tuner, tuner cable, string winder, wire cutters, pick-pouch full of picks, spare volume knobs(!), bar towel, vintage/ancient Ernie Ball polish cloth, wireless transmitter, strap, cough drops, headache pills, pepto-bismol, nail file, glasses polishing cloth, ear plugs in various shapes and sizes....... and occasionally a guitar!

Pictures available on request!

That is pretty much like the big back pouch of my main gig bag which is stuffed to full capacity. I have not kept anything but strings in a guitar case for years after having the inside box on a Strat open years ago and the allen keys put about 4 dings in the finish.
