I remember seeing Jennifer Batten in guitar magazines with one of these jackets on her guitars...didn't she used to play EBMM's...anyway regardless, I want to know if one of these jackets will harm my Pet in anyway...I'd rather protect it than have to clean it each time...here is the link...what do you guys think?

I don't understand the purpose of them personally.
It's kind of like when people put clothes on their poodles! ;)

Well while rehearsing (in my case like FOREVER), the guitar is protected...no finger prints...also while changing strings or doing minor set ups, the body of the guitar remains protected...

Sorry Koog I asked about some kind of body armour kevlar like jacket for those unexpected falls and they hung up on me :D

I think this is a little obsessive, and I'm beginning to worry about you Raz... :p

And Jennifer was endorsed by Ibanez in the late eighties and early nineties, and now she's with Washburn (her sig. axe is pretty cool)...

I could have sworn...anyway I can see from her site she plays a Washburn...but we all know my memory isn't what it used to be

Now obsessive...hmmmm, I'm just a sweaty Italian and if I can avoid getting Mr. Pet all greasy then hey, why not!

OK EDIT: At least I was right about her doing the advertisement for the jackets :D

Those are cool if you don't trust the people handling your balls.
It just goes down hill from here.

Guitar Jackets!?? I havent laughed so much for ages.

Maybe people should just put their EBMM's polished up in their cases and not play them, for fear of, shock horror, finger prints and scratches getting on them!

Now now, I'm not that bad  but I must admit, it is difficult to play with those medical gloves on

When I was going to San Diego State back in 83-85, a buddy took me to see this female guitar player he knew playing at some restaurant. I was impressed even though she looked like a librarian.

One Jennefer Batten. She did the EXTREME MAKEOVER thing since then to put it mildly.

It's blocked...why don't you use the image link, that way the pic is there to view rather than being a link

Sorry for the hijack, but like koogie2k I use Webshots right now - they don't allow direct linking, even to the "community page" portion. Unless you are a Webshots users who happens to be logged in at the time, all you can see for a linked image is the dreaded "red X" box.

I need to get some new shots of the Silo Special and the Rivera; can anyone recommend another service besides Webshots for me to change to?
