Guitar Stand for JP6/piezo

Hello!

I noticed the guitar stands I have cover at least one of the piezo-equipped JP6 jacks. This makes it hard to place the guitar while the cables are plugged. I am not sure if this is also the case with other piezo-equipped EBMM guitars.

I did some research to find a stand which doesn't obstruct the jack and the only one I could find is
Hercules GS412.


Can you please share some experience if you have one of these or help me find another stand which is more JP6-friendly.

I completely agree with you, but I offer this nugget of advice: Unplug the JP when you put it on the stand -- otherwise it will drain the 9v battery with no mercy. Problem solved!

I leave most in the case as the Australian weather can play havoc on the action. Of course one should always have a guitar close by. I like the Hercules style stand as well

I leave all of mine on the stand, with a humidifier nearby in the winter. I use these - Quicklok stands - love 'em:

They work left or right, fold up, are large enough to fit acoustics and separated so you won't inadvertently bump them together when returning or removing a guitar.

+1, unless you want to spend a lot of money on 9 volts, unplug it!

I always leave mine in the case when I'm not playing. I don't want to take that chance.

Also, you could get a cord with an angled end. That works well for me. I definitely would not leave it plugged it while not playing because of the battery, as others have mentioned.

I agree. That's a recipe for disaster.
