Guitar stands!

Hey guys.

I've always had my Luke in the MusicMan hardcase when not playing.. now i want to put it up on the wall.. I'm kinda getting tired of putting it back in the case when done playing, just to get back 5 min later just to try another idea i just got or whatever


And now to my question. I want to put my guitar in one of those "stands" when the guitar is not is not vertically hanging down! I'ts more like 35 degres... to the side.. hehe. I figure u guys know what I'm talking about.

Could it do any damage to my Luke ??
Is it safe to put it up on the wall?

I used to use the Genesis 100 stand by Ultimate

but didn't like the amount of floorspace they took up. I take up enough with a music stand and mic stand for my PODXT.

I love having them accessible and out of the way as well. Where I didn't have a stud to mount them to, I used toggle bolts to replace the plastic anchors it came with. No way I was going to trust my Petrucci to a couple of pieces of plastic and a wood screw 5 feet off of the floor.

I don't know if I've seen the kind of hanging apparatus that you are talking about, but if you can find a picture of one, post a link here. I think this is a cool idea! Hopefully, the experts will chime in and tell us that it would not damage the guitar.
