So here's the test fit - I'd LOVE to get an Armada and Reflex to replace the gretsch and OLP on the wall...

House warming gift anyone?!? :)

How do you get everything to stay so level sideways? MAGICAL!

Dev-
there's always one knucklehead to mention the gravitational pull.... ;)

Thanks guys - i seriously couldn't be more stoked right now - the house is just such a big step up from the apartment in so many ways...

the last week at the apt. i had the upstairs neighbors dog urinating all over my stuff on the balcony - we had a lot of bedding airing out after washing and drying so we could pack it up...
the upstaird and downstairs neighbors got into a "smoking out battle" (if ya catch my drift) and ended up having 6 bbq sessions in one night - i was thinking i was at a rib cook off or something... LOL
upon my walking out the last day after doing the final walkthrough before handing the keys in there was a few "leaves" left on the stairs -
just so thankful to be out and in our house where i can safely display my gear and enjoy it the way they were meant to be...

the board will be painted grey also - but really happy

Looks awesome in that recessed area. I wish my house had a feature like that.

I too just finished my guitar wall just last week although it doesn't quite fit into the room as nicely as yours. Here is my attempt at spanning studs in my "constructionally challenged" house:

*Note: the empty spaces to the left are for (1) a Majesty yet to be ordered and (2) my JP6 BFR Koa, which is currently out for service at EBMM. I'd love to replace the JEM with JP15 but that's really pushing my budget for the year :(

Congrats on the house! I like your floor.

thanks - that's a 6-7 guitar floor... not that i'm counting or anything LOL

it took us FFFFOOOOOORRRRREVER to find a floor that would be durable and easy to take care of having a few pets... and when we found this it looked great with everything and then we picked out the accent grey color based upon it looking good with all the colors of my guitars LOL (man i love my wife)

on the wall next to it - were hanging up two photos 18x20 that my wife took of Joe Perry and Steven Tyler at a show we both went to before we started dating (we were just a few rows back from one another) and i was given a first run copy of Aerosmiths First album that is framed and ready to go in the midd of the two...

in my office i have a UK Guitar Magazine with the AL HH on the cover signed by AL and the UK Poster (both from SPUD) that will be framed and mounted.
