Long time no post, as I've been getting a new laptop up and running following the previous one's death (and those songs are coming along Keith...just need a USB audio interface to get the guitar parts recorded).
This is partly me consoling myself and also to give anyone in the UK a heads up on a GORGEOUS Axis heading to these shores.
Ordered my Axis in Pacific Blue Burst, matching headstock and premium quilt at the beginning of February and was all set with the cash sitting waiting (£1699) but that was before we decided to move house! It's not so much the house or mortgage that puts the Axis on hold, but the sheer cost of lawyers, estate agents, surveyors, moving firms and , worst of all, an evil little tax called stamp duty we have to pay. That little lot alone is costing nearly £15,000
That's about $28,000.
Which means the Axis has to stay a dream I've already told the guitar store but they want to keep the order placed anyway as they reckon it'll sell easily. They sold a similar one last year in double quick time.

They also have a very nice trans blue Axis, an Amber SS and a trans red SS with piezo if anyones looking for others. All matching headstocks.
I'll just console myself with the thought that I absolutely adore my Luke. Still the best guitar I've ever played, and I might just decide to get another one instead when funds permit. A piezo next time...unless anyone finds a Lukather Valley Arts Custom Pro floating around
