Last time I was at Guitar Center I tried out an ASS. The Salesman said, "Nice guitar, Joe Walsh played it last weekend." Don't know if he was trying to be friendly and converse, or if he was trying to tell me that big name rock stars like EB, or he was trying to sell me on the guitar since Joe Walsh had played it one time. Maybe all three.

BTW, The ASS was really nice... but I didn't get anything that day. I ended up getting the 20th a few weeks later instead. ;)

Ever wonder why "autographed " guitars are almost always the lower end, entry level models?? IT'S NOT THE GUITAR. This brings the focus on the "autographer".

In another separate capacity, if the "artist" didn't matter, than what would be the purpose of having a "signature line" guitar model.

Look what Luke, Morse and the rest of the guys bring to the Musicman guitar line -fame and quality!!! This tends to bring focus on the guitar that they play.

Go Musicman:)

I was gonna too but you got there first

cant wait to hear this one :D:D

Okay, so the guy said that he paid collector value for the guitar. I told him that if he honestly paid $1000 for that OLP he got ripped off big time. On top of that, he said "there's no COA, no picture of EVH playing it, no autograph" "but I probably should have gotten one". Flat out, the guy's an idiot. I really feel bad for the person bidding on it. I would never bid on anything with that high of a starting bid just because EVH "supposedly" played on it. As far as I'm concerned the person bidding on it is an idiot too. If they would have done their research they would clearly see they're getting ripped off. The guy selling this needs a swift kick in the @ss.

I love how he said that we made this guitar (almost in response) after EVH left MM -- which happened in 1995. We started with OLP in what... 2001? The guy's got his facts all wrong. Geez, Louise. Everyone get up on your chairs, because the sh*t's gettin' deep!

I shook Brian Mays hand once, and that very same hand has played all my EBMM guitars. They are all now worth £10,000 each, so please form an orderly queue....
