Today, Keith aka kbaim came over for a visit and jam session. As I am now in San Diego on business, it was really cool to meet someone from the forum who was willing to drive an 1 1/2 to jam. Not only that, he brought me a VH concert t-shirt from the show the night before. How cool is that?? What did I do in return, I bought him a $2 burger...hehehehe. ;) There's more, he gave me a Bela Fleck video to check out (I will recommend you view or buy their CDs and vids) and brought over two EBMM. Man, that can't be any better. Keith brought over his tobacco burst Axis (what a beauty) and purple Luke. Both were killer and I just could not put down that Axis. Awesome axe. We jammed for a better part of 3 to 4 hours and talked music. Keith is one cool dude and a hell of a guitarist. He played one of his original tunes called "Dreamin'" and it gave me goose bumps is was soooooo good. If you ever get a chance to meet him and jam with him, do it. He is really cool. Keith, I appreciate you coming out here and letting me play one of your guitars and showing me that awesome tune and for the shirt and video. Much appreciated. Hope to get together again before I leave. Everyone should get the privilege of meeting Keith. Thanks again dude!

Hey, don't forget to HAND WASH the VH tee.

Those parking lot t-shirts are only 10 bucks for a reason! They bleed like a hemophiliac.

And hats off to koogs for learning a fingerpicking tune of mine in less than a 1/2 hour. Including a few unusual chord grips. Both for learning it, and wanting to learn it.

I figured he just might want to solo over it, but he says "I'd rather work on the rhythmn". That was damn cool to hear.

Hey, maybe I'll title that tune "SLO Town." in honor of eb.

Thanks for the compliment. Your finger pickin' is awesome....really inspired me in a new direction....BTW, work on that Satch chord I showed ya and use it somewhere!!

Hand Wash...no problemo...

I thought maybe you could call that tune "Re-Fleck-tions"...hehehe. It certainly has that kind of influence!! ;)

Norm....Keith had great praise about you bro...hope to have the pleasure of one day meeting ya and getting a chance to play some geetar with you too.

Hey, why don't we just all get together for a EB fest one day and just burn down a camp site somewhere......just a thought :D

REFLECKTIONS! Cool

Vegas would be a good place to gather (darrell may disagree :) )

I'm seeing Bela Fleck there Nov 7th and have a room at the mandalay bay.

Get your tickets and it's on.

An MM Con...sounds like a load of fun. It would be nice to meet some of you that I pester. :p

It's only a 4 and a half hour drive. I can nail that without issue...as long as we don't have to meet up right off the bat (lil man needs his nap! LOL!), and I can keep my fat butt away from the blackjack tables, I'm game. ;)

Any reason for me to go to Vegas. I love to get in those Texas Hold 'Em tourneys or even just a regular table. But this time, we would have a mission. Meet and play some serious guitar. Should we all get those goofy "leopard lodge" hats so we can find each other? ;)

Keith, I thought you would like the name I picked out for your tune....BTW, I did get your message...."Snatch and grab" is now the name of the tune I showd you! hehehehhe....

I think a meeting would be great, but I couldn't go until after the New Year. I am going to the land of a bunch of sand and camels again...... :(

But it's a good idea and we should make it happen or at least attempt it....
